The combination of my medical education, fitness experience, and holistic approach allows me to create incredibly personalized training programs to help you achieve your healthiest body. You are uniquely you. Your fitness routine should reflect your individuality and be tailored to your specific body. It's time to discover your potential, overcome your injuries and become the healthiest version of YOU.

Over the years, I have encountered fitness theories, fad diets, and workout trends that have lead my clients to confusion. Currently pursuing my PhD in Exercise Physiology, I have invested a great deal of time examining the science behind exercise and injury. My philosophy is to take peer-reviewed scientific research and implement it into my fitness programs. I keep an eye on the latest in scientific literature and have a healthy respect for holistic philosophies. My wellness plans bridge the gap between Western and Eastern medicine to provide a holistic, comprehensive plan to heal your digestion, invigorate your mind, and strengthen your body.

My current research is focused on preventing injuries in youth sports. I am working closely with a team of fitness and medical professionals to develop a method to address and rehabilitate individual functional weaknesses in young athletes. I have a heart for underprivileged youth and have spent a majority of my time as a health care professional serving this population.

As a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), I have the education and experience to prevent, treat and rehabilitate athletic injuries. I have worked with all levels of sport from high school to Olympic and understand the goals and needs of individual athletes. My program design incorporates corrective exercise and athletic movement in order to allow your body to move the way it was intended to move. Whether your goal is to increase your vertical jump height, decrease joint pain, or simply be able to keep up with your kids, I will design a program to help you reach your goals.

If working with athletes has taught me anything, it is that exercise should be fun! It is important to enjoy your workout. I take your entire unique personality into consideration before developing a program specific to your goals; no two programs are alike.

I was born and raised in scenic Virginia, and have always been passionate about health, sport, and community involvement. I received my Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from James Madison University where I was fortunate enough to work with a variety of Division I College athletic teams. In addition to becoming a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), I obtained my EMT-Enhanced certification and volunteered my Friday nights as an emergency medical provider for several years.

While pursuing my Masters in Health and Movement Science at Virginia Commonwealth University, I worked as an Athletic Trainer for several inner-city high schools where I developed a heart for underprivileged youth. After completing my Masters, I moved to Honolulu, Hawaii to pursue a Doctorate in Exercise Physiology. During my time in Hawaii, I collaborated with multiple fitness professionals in a variety of unique fitness settings, adding blood flow restricted training and visual and sensory performance to my arsenal of fitness tools. I was employed as an Athletic Trainer for a private high school as well as the Athletic Trainer for the Women's and Men's Olympic Beach Volleyball tournament and served the athletes of China, Canada, and the United States. I am currently conducting my doctoral research in the culturally rich cities of San Francisco and Honolulu. I am investigating the existence of a predictive formula to better predict the chance of ligamentous injury in female soccer athletes. My research interests include biomechanics, DNA and blood factor analysis, assessing athletic readiness, injury prevention, and body composition. I have also taught several undergraduate courses at the University of Hawaii's department of Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Science.

As an ambassador with Lululemon, I have the opportunity to collaborate on events and educational series to further spread knowledge of the human body and how to best care for it.

I envision a world where everyone has been educated on how to move to prevent injury and eat to prevent injury. My dream is to inspire pandemic health and awaken authenticity in health education.

I can often be found indulging my creative side as an actor, painter, and musician but I am happiest when I am helping others. My free time consists of dancing around to music, challenging my cooking skills, and being constantly inspired by beauty in all forms. I am passionate about encouraging young women to confidently embrace every opportunity to nourish their best selves.

I look forward to meeting you and making your health goals a reality.
